The complete Paint Protection Film process typically spans 5 to 6 working days. This comprehensive timeline encompasses several crucial steps including car preparation, paint correction (if needed), PPF application, curing of the film, and a final quality inspection to ensure satisfaction.

Our approach to PPF installation prioritises minimal disruption to your vehicle. We do not remove body panels such as bumpers, door mirrors, door handles, or headlights. Instead, our templates are meticulously customised internally to extend as close to the edges of each panel as possible - ensuring comprehensive coverage and protection while avoiding visible seam lines. This approach eliminates the risks associated with disassembly, including broken clips and potential alignment issues.

While any standard car wash soap is suitable, we strongly advise opting for pH-neutral shampoos only. We also highly recommend hand washing exclusively, as automatic car washes or 'waterless' washing methods may use dirty cloths that can damage the PPF and compromise its self-healing properties.

Nearly all PPF manufacturers offer guarantees against yellowing. While occurrences are rare, we have observed some instances in India, particularly on white paint - potentially due to diverse weather conditions and storage or washing environments. In every case, the manufacturer has honoured their warranty and we have replaced affected areas as part of our commitment to client satisfaction.

Absolutely. Many of our clients choose to enhance their vehicle's protection with ceramic coating applied over the PPF. This adds a hydrophobic effect for easier cleaning, additional protection for glass and rims, and enhances the depth of gloss even further. It's the ultimate combination of protection.

Even brand-new vehicles direct from the dealership commonly have minor scratches or swirl marks in the paintwork - introduced during the manufacturing and transport process. A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle. It chemically bonds with the surface, creating a protective layer that is resistant to UV rays, chemicals, and environmental contaminants - significantly harder and more durable than any wax or paint sealant.

The durability depends on the quality of the product and how well it is maintained. A high-quality Gtechniq ceramic coating can last anywhere from four to nine years with proper care - far exceeding any traditional wax or sealant product.

The complete ceramic coating process typically spans 3 to 5 working days. This includes car preparation, foam wash, surface decontamination, paint correction, ceramic coating application, curing, and a final inspection.

Maintain your ceramic coating by regularly washing the vehicle using a pH-neutral car shampoo and gentle washing techniques. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. Periodically, you may need to top up the coating with a spray sealant or ceramic booster to maintain its hydrophobic properties. We provide full aftercare guidance to every client upon collection.

While ceramic coatings offer some level of scratch resistance and can minimise the appearance of light abrasions, they are not a substitute for paint protection film, which is specifically engineered to prevent chips and deeper scratches. For ultimate protection, we recommend combining both - PPF with a ceramic coating on top.

Ceramic coatings offer superior durability and longevity compared to traditional wax or sealants. While wax provides a sacrificial layer that wears off within weeks or months, ceramic coatings chemically bond with the surface - creating a permanent or semi-permanent barrier that can last for years. They also offer significantly better resistance to environmental contaminants and UV damage.

Yes, it is possible - and in some cases necessary (such as when applying PPF to a previously ceramic-coated car) - to remove a ceramic coating using abrasive methods such as machine polishing or specific chemical removers. The process can be labour-intensive and requires professional assistance to ensure thorough removal without damaging the underlying paintwork.
